Situated between the Chamberí and Chueca districts, the building was designed by the architect José María Mendoza Ussía as the headquarters of the former Biscayan company Papelera Española.
While maintaining the essence of the palace and some of its most unique elements, such as the central courtyard, the stained glass windows and the tiles on the façade, the architect Antonio Obrador has carried out a painstaking intervention on the interiors. In addition to its 78 rooms and suites, some of which have terraces, there is also a water area (on the lower floor) with various treatments.
